Personal Brand Imagery with Jeri at Sort Projects.

Jeri has started a company called Sort Projects. This company specializes in helping small businesses with brand and marketing strategies. This subject is near and dear to my heart, so I was overly excited with Jeri reached out to me last year for a 1-hour branding photography session.

We rented out studio space in Wasilla, Alaska, called Workspace Alaska. This is a great little studio in which you can rent it out hourly. It’s affordable, wonderfully decorated, and conveniently located.

Jeri had her done by her local stylist, and then she hired one of my preferred vendors, Kelsey Urrea with Lipsticks and Bobby Pins. I always recommend each of my clients get their hair and makeup done. These are going to be the photos you utilize on your website, emails, social media, etc. Trust me, having that extra little pop in confidence is a good thing!

Even for my one-hour shoots, we still do a thorough dive into the business and its branding foundations. I find this really helps bring clarity to my client’s brands as well as a direction for the photoshoot.

For Jeri, we want to capture her warm and welcoming personality. We also wanted to show how organized she is as a brand and marketing strategist. The main focus for this one-hour branding portrait session was to capture personal headshots Jeri could use for her social media, website, and future speaking engagements.
